ReadCoor, Inc. is looking for a motivated and experienced biochemist to prepare custom nucleic acid and protein reagents for use in Fluorescent in situ Sequencing (FISSEQ) assays and R&D. Responsibilities include both use and optimization of diverse bioconjugation techniques and chromatographic methods. The candidate will work at analytical scale for research and development projects as well as develop strategies for scale-up, optimization, and standardized quality control at industrial scale for reagent manufacturing. The candidate will mostly work with macromolecules (proteins including antibodies and oligonucleotides), but should also have the ability to interpret SOPs for chemical synthesis and chromatographic analysis and purification of small molecules such as nucleosides.
We are seeking scientists to help us develop the most advanced fluorescent in situ sequencing (FISSEQ) platform in the industry. We are looking for candidates that want to play an integral role in transforming the way science and medicine approaches RNA sequencing. You will develop techniques in cells and tissue that improve our understanding of molecular interactions between enzymes, cellular environment, hydrogels and surfaces to tackle challenges of molecule immobilization, amplification and detection. Candidates will also be part of a multidisciplinary team that designs, builds, and tests a custom sequencing device tailored to FISSEQ applications.
We are seeking scientists with knowledge of molecular biology and biochemistry to contribute to our efforts pertaining to fluorescent in situ sequencing (FISSEQ). You will work with cells and tissue to develop fluorescent molecular detection methods. Simultaneously, you will apply your understanding of molecular interactions between enzymes, tissue environment, hydrogels and surfaces to tackle challenges of molecule immobilization, extension, amplification and sequencing. The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience and the enthusiasm to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, start-up environment.
Specific goals will include developing FISSEQ technology expand the capabilities of current methods and protocols. These responsibilities will include development and validation of experimental protocols, organization of participation in collaborative efforts, writing and assisting with peer-reviewed publications, patent applications, and grant proposals, biological experimentation in synthetic biology and sequencing contexts, and providing guidance to multiple interdisciplinary development teams.
ReadCoor, Inc. is looking for a motivated lab administrator to join our growing research team. Responsibilities will include maintaining laboratory supply stocks by curating an organized and up-to-date inventory, placing orders with approved vendors, managing the receipt of orders and stockroom organization, and effectively communicating inventory changes and updates to the laboratory staff. In addition, the candidate will be responsible for preparing multiple reagents and materials for use in the laboratory and optimizing these protocols with feedback from scientists in the laboratory.
